Here I am at it again with another fun flamingo DIY! I just couldn’t help myself. I did one final Mother’s Day project to finish out what is at this point a full fledged “flamingo themed gift series”…just kidding. If you love flamingos, you will love my DIY flamingo wreath and mirror. Here is how I created this simple flamingo DIY ring holder dish in under one hour!

Supplies
- Sculpey clay in dusty rose
- Parchment paper
- Rolling pin
- Small bowl
- X-Acto knife
- Glass cup
- Baking sheet
- Oven
- Hot glue
- Flamingos
Step 1
I decided to give the Scupley clay a try this time. I had a bit of trouble working with the air clay and did not want to wait 24 hours. I also love that these come in colors so I would not need to add another step to this project.
Roll your clay into a neat ball with your hands.

Step 2
Roll the clay flat with a rolling pin.
Step 3
Find a small bowl to press onto the rolled out clay.

Step 4
Cut out the circle with an X-Acto knife.

Step 5
Press onto the top of a glass and create a scalloped edge with your finger.

Step 6
Remove from the glass (this was a little tough to be honest) and keep pressing the lip thinner between two of your fingers all the way around. Mine ended up looking like a flower and I thought it was so cute!

Step 7
Bake in the over per the instructions. I placed mine on parchment paper in a baking pan at 275 degrees for exactly 15 minutes.

Step 8
Once cooled, hot glue the flamingo to the center!
